Caring for your pet's cast

• Follow the practitioner’s advice. If you have any concerns, please contact a veterinary professional as soon as possible.
• Keep clean, dry and away from water. Protect the cast with an outside cover when taking the pet outside.
• Contact a professional if there is an increase in pain or swelling, the cast breaks or becomes loose, or if you observe fluid discharge or foul odor.
